Tuross Beach is a wonderful place for a break from hectic city life. The cabins are clean and comfortable with great views out over the inlet and down the southern coastline. From my balcony kangaroos and emus were often seen. Great walking can be found along the beaches and around the lake. My favourite memory is getting up in time to see a spectacular sunrise from One Tree Point, watching the fishermen gather on the rocks and being surprised by two dolphin on the way back for breakfast.
